Lingam Shrine at Nai Lert Park
Although it is hard to find this shrine, you would not dare to ask anyone its whereabouts, especially if you do not master Thai. What can you say? A show and tell (assuming you have such organ to show)? LOL.
It is a pretty small shrine. Despise its smallness, the organs inside are big and plentiful, complimented with assorted colors. It reminds me of the
Tagata Jinja in
Nagoya.
Lingam Shrine Direction
The Shrine can be reached from Sky Train station
Phloenchit. After leaving the station, walk west, on Wireless road, walk north, the Nai Lert Park Hotel is the only high rise in that direction, so it is very easy to locate. After finding the Nai Lert Park hotel, it’s a bit tricky to locate the shrine. You have to get to the north western entrance of the hotel near the river side (the Wireless road is on the eastern side). For that, you have to walk through one of the shopping mall or go through the swimming pool area of the hotel. Whatever you do, don’t embarrass yourself by asking people.
