2) Ghibli studio - lunch menu by porco rosso

The straw cafe is always packed, the hot dog place may be a better choice.
Wonder if they sell pork?

3) Mitaka - lunch in train station

This is what I call cheap food. Lunch for Y320 (the noodle) + Y100 (an extra egg).
The component is made of a vegetarian noodle plus a raw egg. I didn't know I was ordering a raw egg. I just punched the keys in the vending machines, it spat out some...

6) Hakodate mountain cafe - tofu salad

The tofu salad is only 500Y, good value... I thought it was vegetarian but then found out it was covered with little fish.

Less than US$5, with a window seat of the hakodate night... what a deal!

7) Noboribetsu - set meal display in a japanese restaurant

10) Nara deer biscuits

The deer biscuit is for the deer--not made of deer. Whatever you do, don't eat it youself. If mistakenly eaten, it will turn a person into a deer. Many deer in Nara Park were former tourists who couldn't read the Japanese instructions.

11) Nara tea house

I didn't try this tea house in Nara, it's close to Kasuga Taisha Shrine. It might be good because it was very busy. The surrounding has the mood of the autumn.
